• Thomas Kraus (51) is a new member of the Management Board of Erste Asset Management GmbH, Vienna, effective 1st January 2021.
  • He is responsible for Institutional and Retail Sales and Product Management within EAM Group.
  • The Management Board thus consists of Heinz Bednar (CEO), Winfried Buchbauer, Peter Karl, and Thomas Kraus.
  • Wolfgang Traindl will leave the Board end of February 2021 and will support the transition.

Thomas Kraus is an excellent sales expert and is responsible for Institutional Sales, Retail Sales and Product Management within Erste Asset Management. He comes with 18 years of experience in Sales as Director of Invesco Asset Management Austria for the German-speaking region of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and the CEE region. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Prior to Invesco, he was Head of Equity Fund Management with Bawag PSK Invest and portfolio manager with GAM.
